Facades of old houses as a vintage design 🏠🏡🏤 [Eng - Spa]

 I never thought I would be in a fake city, but it happened without me realising it and by chance, one day while running medical errands in Maracay, the capital of Aragua state in Venezuela, I passed by a curious car park, at the entrance of which there was a sign that read "Memories of Juan Vicente Gómez", who was one of the most remembered presidents in Venezuelan history, 1857 and 1935, which were the years of birth and death of this former president, and several photos from the era in which he lived. This sign does not specify what this place is about or what is inside, but it invites you to come in. Once inside, I could see many antique objects, cars, and various curiosities, but what I want to highlight is the construction of old houses and buildings. I wondered if they were real and heard several people who were also discovering the place for the first time asking themselves the same question. Are they real houses? All these buildings had striking pastel colours, very characteristic of the colonial houses that predominated during the former president's era. Some had large wooden windows and doors, and most had balconies where young women used to lean out in the afternoons to look at the streets without leaving the house. The balconies were made of wooden chaguaramos, and the lights that illuminated the fronts of these houses were black lanterns, although in my opinion, they are modern and not so old, but they still fit in with the designs of yesteryear.   > ## Fachadas de Casas Antiguas como un diseño vintage > Jamás pensé que estaría en una ciudad de mentira, pero ocurrió sin darme cuenta y por casualidad, un día mientras hacía diligencias médicas en Maracay capital del Aragua en Venezuela, pasé por el frente de un curioso estacionamiento, en su entrada había un letrero que decía memorias de Juan Vicente Gómez quien fue un presidente de los más recordados en la historia venezolana, 1857 y 1935 que eran los años de nacimiento y muerte del este expresidente y varias fotos de esa época cuando vivía. Este letrero no especifica de qué trata este lugar ni que hay adentro, pero invita a pasar. > Una vez dentro pude ver muchos objetos antiguos, carros y varias curiosidades, pero lo que quiero resaltar es la construcción de casas y edificios antiguos, me pregunté si eran reales y escuche a varias personas que también estaban descubriendo el lugar por primera vez, preguntarse lo mismo. ¿Serán casas reales? Todas estas edificaciones tenían colores pasteles llamativos y muy característicos de las casas coloniales predominantes de la época del expresidente, algunas con sus ventanas grandes hechas de madera al igual que las puertas, la mayoría tenían balcones donde las jóvenes solían asomarse en las tardes a mirar las calles sin salir de casa, balcones de chaguaramos de madera y las luces que alumbraban estos frentes de casas que eran faroles de color negro aunque lo que usaron a mi parecer son modernos y no tan antiguo igual se ajustan a los diseños de antaño.    Some houses were simple, single-storey, and decorated with bicycles and vintage objects; others already had an upper floor or level and a mini balcony, but there are also two-storey versions. Their size was real, like any structure, and walking in front of them and touching them was a strange sensation that I don't know how to describe. It was like travelling back in time, and at first, I had my doubts about whether they were real houses or not, and I smiled at my own uncertainty because I knocked on doors and walls and they sounded hollow, until I finished walking down the main street and looked at the side of one of the larger houses: they were definitely one-metre-wide facades.    > Unas casas eran sencillas de un solo nivel, y decoradas con bicicletas y objetos vintage, otra ya tenían un piso o nivel superior y su mini balcón, pero también hay ediciones de dos niveles, su tamaño era real como cualquier estructura y caminar en frente de ellos y tocarlos fue una sensación extraña, que no sé cómo describir, fue como viajar en el tiempo y al principio si tuve mi duda sobre si eran casas reales o no y sonreía de mi propia incertidumbre porque tocaba puertas y paredes y sonaban hueco, hasta que terminé de recorrer la calle principal y observé el lateral de una de las casas más grandes, definitivamente eran fachadas de un metro de ancho.    Some are still being restored and painted, built to recreate a whole space from two centuries ago, which is great. When I realised they weren't real houses, my feeling of uncertainty changed and I felt like I was on a Hollywood film set. All the images I have are facades, and in one photo you can see the current brick buildings and towers that remain on the avenues behind and in the background. I thought it was a wonderful idea in terms of design and architecture. This is a perfect space for taking photos in period clothing or making videos inspired by times gone by. At first glance, no one would suspect that they are decorative structures.   > Algunas todavía las están restaurando y pintando, construyeron están fechadas para recrear todo un espacio de hace dos siglos, eso es genial, cuándo me di cuenta de que no eran casas reales mi sensación de incertidumbre cambió y me sentí en un escenario de películas de Hollywood, todas las imágenes que traigo son fachadas y en una foto se pueden ver los edificios actuales de ladrillos y torres que quedan en las avenidas de atrás y se ve en el fondo. > Me pareció una idea estupenda de diseño y arquitectura, este es un espacio perfecto para sacarse fotografías con ropas antiguas, o hacer videos inspirados en épocas pasadas.
