I had to take a break from everything to recharge my batteries and that's why I left to see my uncle who lives in wilderness where there is no WIFI signal except in a small bar beside a store where we went to buy some food after four days.
There is another thing: @driipam and myself brought two more people here on Hive and they are @goran3012 and @abreed . @goran3012 already started with blogging while @abreed is a well known poet in Croatia with published book and I expect from him great posts because I know how good he is with writing. So please help them to find their way here on Hive.
Lets get back to rallying... Last weekend there was a latest round of European Rally Championship in Czech Republic with event called Barum Rally Zlin, based around small town Zlin. It was always very popular event of European series with lots of entries, especially from their local drivers who know the roads very well.
Local hero, who won this rally numerous times, Jan Kopecky won it again in Škoda Fabia RS Rally2. As a Škoda works driver he has lots of testing miles, and in motorsport - testing means training. He showed once again how good he is and won this rally ahead of M-Sport works driver Jon Armstrong who also showed that Ford Fiesta Rally2 can be a powerful weapon if you are a works driver, of course, and you know machinery upside-down. Don't forget that Armstrong was also runner-up in Junior WRC series some seasons ago.
ERC regular Andrea Mabellini finished 3rd overall in another Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 in front of Hyundai privateer Simon Wagner (Hyundai i20 Rally2). Local driver Eric Cais finished 5th overall in another Hyundai rally2 car.
It was an interesting event, as every Rally Barum Zlin is. Great stuff.
