Ogier won WRC Rally Chile 2025

Hi, friends!

Another interesting World Rally Championship event is just behind and eight-time champion Seb Ogier (Toyota) showed truly why he won these eight titles in the first place. He is just way too better then all the others and rest of the field won the titles when he was not around on a full time bases or he had really bad machinery (like in 2019 when he drove Citroen, or shitroen as his wife called it).

It is not that the rest of drivers are bad. It just means that Ogier is too good for others, like another Seb - Loeb, who won nine WRC title in the row. Elfyn Evans (Toyota) led the championship for most of the year but now he lost the lead, just before the first tarmac event after almost six months - Central European Rally, and we know how good Ogier is on tarmac. Anyway, Evans managed to take 2nd place overall and finished behind Ogier overall, at Power Stage and on Super Sunday points table.

Hyundai is the special case this season and their team boss Cyril A. should be booted at the end of season because he is the one to destroy their peace with stupid ideas and "muddy water" mood in the team. They need rally director and not ex-F1 director because things are very different in these two motorsport venues.

Their machinery is just not good this season. They can challenge for the win only when Ott Tanak is super brave to fight for it. And even then, their machinery stops. That's the true.

Anyway, Adrien Fourmaux (Hyundai) scored another podium with 3rd place, just in front of his team mate and current WRC champion Thierry Neuville. Toyota junior Sami Pajari finished 5th overall with another good result.
