I can't say that I am impressed with his decision to change a motorsport venue but every single person has its own choices and if he decided to quit rallying for formula racing, then we should be fine with that.
Yeah, his target is Formula One and no rally driver did that at his/her twenties. I doubt if Kalle Rovanpera will be able to enter F1 world. Guys from their early years drive karts and learn racing against each others on track. In rallying you race against the clock because every driver starts in his minute and after the special stage finish you see your times.
That's not how it functions in F1 but Rovanpera jr has his backings in Toyota so he doesn't have to think about this at least.
Recently he did a two day test with single seater and he said that he is happy with the performance but physical demand for the neck is tough so he will have to build his muscles on that area to be able to "survive" G-forces which can be heavy.
Rovanpera jr is still in big fight for his 3rd WRC title and currently in Japan on the recce. Let the best win - as always...
