Hi, friends!
Greek round of the World Rally Championship is one of thr toughest and now I know why is that. I thought that we had a tough times at Sardinia but that was nothing compared to the rough gravel of Acropolis Rally Greece.
When we came there, country was in panic because of the fires but that was mainly at the islands. And then it started to rain badly.
Special stages was in terrible conditions full of mud during the recce but we managed to make the notes although now I am not happy enough because at Sardinia we did a better recce. The problem was a front wheel drive recce car which was not able to go through the big mud the way we wanted.
Rally started in Thursday and we did really good super special stage in the center of Athens.
The other three days were driven on the mountains around town of Lamia where the floods were really big.
We puntured a radiator on a super rough section and that's why we lost 30 minutes, otherwise it would be much better.
Our small Renault Clio Rally5 is maybe to weak and gentle for this rough terrain but we did what we planned before the rally - to finish one of the toughest rallies in the world.
There will be some nice photos in the following days. :)
