Dear chessfans!
Last Sunday our blockchain chess team fought yet again in liga 3 of the "Lichess Liga Team Battle reloaded" and we again almost made it!! Until 10 min before the close we were in the lead, and just within a few minutes almost miraculously one team gained some 30 points and overtook us - very strange.
160 players of a record average rating of 2096(!) had fought for points.
Topscorer from our team was for the first time @chessdev17 (queen5layer), followed by IM @stuffings and @poseout87 (ManFromSpain)! Congratulations!

The rules:
- Everybody in our Lichess team can join using the link to the tournament (pick the blockchain chess team if asked 😃, in case you are part of multiple teams) and if you are not in our team yet, you can join anytime!
- Every Thursday and Sunday are tournaments that last 1h40min (but you don´t need to stay for the full time)
- The results of the 10 best contributors of each team (i.e. the "scorers") are counted in this liga
- Bonus: Every participant in the Team Liga (min. 5 games played) will get a one-time bonus of 3 points in the upcoming Hivechess season 21, all scorers 5 and topscorers will get even 10 points!
- Payout: Each week all scorers will get 1 or 2 Hive (depending if scored once or twice that week) sent to their wallet!
The more join the better we will be. Can we reach 20 players this time?
20% of the rewards of this post go the prizepool of S21!
In the meantime the topscorers @poseout87, IM @stuffings, @fcastro177, @tangibleay, IM @tenny-trigah and @chessdev17 have gotten the prestigous "Hivechess Valued Player"-badge which shows up one their peakd.com profile page (currently 45 Hivians have it).
If you want to earn this honorary badge, you normally have to participate in 10 Hivechess tournaments (regardless who organized them, myself, @sam.chess or @sammy00). If you have done so, and have no badge yet, please let me know - I will assign it shortly! Of note, people not playing on Hive for a longer period, will lose the badge.
