Dear chessfans!
Yesterday our blockchain chess team fought yet again in liga 3 of the "Lichess Liga Team Battle reloaded" and this time it was an absolute shocker!! We could only achieve the second to last rank and were relegated to liga 4! It was not even close, 38 points were missing to stay in liga 3. Rank 9 is also the worst result our team ever had this year.
Why? First of all some of our strongest player didn´t show up and from the one who did, several did not stay for the full time. 100 min. of 3+0 is very exhaustive, I felt it too. But if you stop playing after 5 games, it is completely useless (you won´t get more S21 bonus (the 3 points is one-time), so it makes no sense from that perspective, too). Well, let´s hope with this team morale we even can stay in liga 4!
186 players of an average rating of 2069 had fought for points and the raise to the prestigious liga 2. Topscorer from our team was @poseout87 (ManFromSpain), followed by @southgamer (best result so far, first time scoring!!) and @hildemaro (hildemaro7). Congratulations!

The rules:
- Everybody in our Lichess team can join using the link to the tournament (pick the blockchain chess team if asked 😃, in case you are part of multiple teams) and if you are not in our team yet, you can join anytime!
- Every Thursday and Sunday are tournaments that last 1h40min (but you don´t need to stay for the full time)
- The results of the 8 best contributors of each team (i.e. the "scorers") are counted in this liga
- Bonus: Every participant in the Team Liga (min. 5 games played) will get a one-time bonus of 3 points in the upcoming Hivechess season 21, all scorers 5 and topscorers will get even 10 points!
- Payout: Each week all scorers will get 1 or 2 Hive (depending if scored once or twice that week) sent to their wallet!
The more join the better we will be. Can we regain liga 3?

How long do we want to keep fighting? 2 years ago we stopped after 20 battles. I have the feeling that we could go on for a while still.
