Learning all of the tricks to a new system can be complicated and will always take time, but with Steem Engine evolving so quickly, many users may find themselves struggling to keep up. If you've gotten the basics down for signing in, making deposits and withdraws, and handling orders, then today we're going to share some useful tools for digging a bit deeper and helping you research the projects and tokens you see on the market.
The first tool that everyone should know about is the block explorer that @inertia built. On the site you can use the search box at the top right to find transactions by token or account by using $symbol ($PAL) or @user (@inertia). There are also some more advanced search features, such as viewing open orders and rich lists available as well.
Another great tool is the website scot.today, which is great for exploring all sorts of information about the different tokens and SCOTs. You can sort lists by many variables and view prices in STEEM or USD and there's even a separate tab that lists just SCOT tokens for easy comparison. You'll be able to see the previous day's charts and SCOT contract settings as well as a list of token holders and how much they have staked.
These tools are great for digging under the hood and doing more research before getting involved in a project, which we all know is critical to successfully buying and trading tokens. We'll keep you updated on new tools as they become available and as always, if you need assistance with anything, feel free to join us on the Discord server and chat!
