There are a specific section of people in the society who cheers the good old days. Those were the times when they were free, there were thoughful talks, mindful discussion and many things that were missing in the current set up of life. Todays life is more of a business minded where everyone is trying to get benefit from others. Even the relationship is based upon mutual benefits rather than mutual understanding. Talking about the busines minded society, everything has turned into money motive. Be it, education, healthcare, or any others services. Getting the profit out of it is the sole motive rather than quality services.

Recently, I went to a doctor to consult about my back pain issue. Instead of giving a proper diagnosis, or physiotherapy session, the doctor prescribed me multiple tests. From blood tests to sugar test to few others. Remembering the name of all the test is pretty headache these days. I was surprised to find the list tests as my concerned was only with the pain issue. But the practitioner is expecting to get as much money as possible through fake medical tests. There are many hospitals, recommending unnecessary tests, procedures, and inflated diagnoses to increase their revenue. This clearly indicates the erosion of professional ethics among many medical staff. I remember, few years ago, I went to an old doctor in my village region and he diagonose me with a simple medicine. He never wanted their patients to come back again and again. I was surprised to find that still we have few doctors who does not bothered about makingnprofit, rather focus on their patients recovering.
Transforming #hospitals and #education from a money mindset organisation to one centered on people requires systemic changes in their operational system. The core strategy is to shift from volume based models to value based models that reward quality outcomes, patient & student well being, and social good. However that requires a hige transformation cycle. Both the sectors are operated in a large scale and bringing the changes requires efforts from all the level. It requires combined effort from the ground level to the superior level. The mass level of changes will ultimately results in good outcome. There is a need of complete change in the approach. Such major transformation is not possible with a single individual effort. Changing people's mindset from a sole focus on money to genuinely enjoying their profession involves fostering intrinsic motivation (internal drive and satisfaction) alongside strategic use of extrinsic motivation (external rewards like pay).
In good faith - Peace!!
