There are two sides of Online shopping, while it is a blessing as we will easily get anything by few simple clicks sitting at the comfort of the home. At the same time there may be occasion when you will get dejected or cheated for the products ordered. Tyese days I am too much relying on online shopping for the grocery item. The groceries are easily available at a cheaper rate as compared to market. So getting the goods at the doorstep is aboon but sometime, it happens that the product may not be as per expectation. As it happens with me when we ordered Un-junked Cummin biscuit.
Lately I have developed a taste for these, at a local tea shop. Jeera biscuits has a unique combination of aromatic, savory cumin flavor with a mild sweetness and satisfyingly crispy texture, making them a perfect pairing with tea or coffee. Jeera biscuits are a classic snack enjoyed by people of all ages, from children to the elderly, maintaining a universal and enduring popularity.
So finding it online I ordered them along with other grocery item. But the mistake I did , was ignoring the weight of the product and name. It mentioned "unjunked' I never get hold of it and ordered for Rs.45 a pkt.
The cost was well over a 50 cent so I was expecting a decent quantity of the biscuit. Biscuit in India are cheaper. But when it was delivered, I found a mini packet of the biscuit. It was a nice green packaging with cripy texture of the biscuit on top of the wrapper.
Opening the packet give me only 5 pcs of the biscuit, which really made me to think if I get fooled with the product or it was worth a buy. 5 pcs for 45 is not what I expected for thr biscuit. But then, I noticed the name which says Unjunked, which means it was made without refined ingredients like maida (refined wheat flour), palm oil, and refined sugar
I never had the unjunked version of the biscuit before. Even though if I ever had, I never cared about the make and Ingredients of the product. These unjunked version of the biscuits uses healthier flours such as oat flour and whole wheat flour, sweetened with jaggery powder, and flavored with cumin seeds and powder, making it a "guilt-free" and nutritious snack option.
The "unjunked" designation reflects to the brand's effort to create snacks with wholesome ingredients and a better nutritional profile, as opposed to those high in unhealthy additives.
Considering, people are more focused towards healthier foods these unjunked food items going to be a good game changer in the biscuit market. If people are ready to afford and pay for such item, this biscuit is worth eating. I enjoyed munching this biscuit and felt worth of every penny.
In good faith - Peace!!
