#1 Exploring the tropical forest of Minca (Photos + Videos)

For our first featured post of today @lizanomadsoul takes us to to the tropical forest of Minca, Colombia. This is the last stop in Colombia (and we've enjoyed all the other posts a lot as well)! Minca is where you can find the coffee and ecological tourism in Colombia. This small village can be found in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, a park which holds 383.000 hectares of tropical vegetation, brimming with wildlife. Several indigenous people now are the guardians of the area. @lizanomadsoul goes exploring, and finds beautiful scenic views, a hostel with huge and I do mean huge hammocks and beautiful waterfalls!

#2 Quinta de Bacalhôa - Beautiful Wines And A Fairy Tail Labyrinth

For our second featured post @for91days takes us to Azeitao, Portugal. If you're looking for wine and cheese in Portugal, this is the place to be. The small town, holds a summer palace which was once home to royalty and is nowadays used as a small vineyard for the Bacalhoa Wine Company. After the collapse of the Portugese monarchy, the estate fell into ruin and was eventually be purchased by an American family who started with the planting of wine grapes and restoring the building. Nowadays the estate is owned by the wealthy Portugese Berardo family, who live on the upper floor whilst opening the bottom floor to the public to showcase their private art collection. At the end of the visit, some wine tasting has to be done!

#3 High Sierra Adventures - Snowboarding at Mammoth Mountain

For our last post of today @derekrichardson takes us to Mammoth Mountain. While it's quite a high mountain, it's still dwarfed by the massive Sierra Crest, but the snow conditions are perfect for snowboarding and skiing. There is a great video added to the post where @derekrichardson shows off his snowboarding skills and what you can expect from the area.
