Greetings, everyone!
I haven't posted with Actifit for a long time, but yesterday was truly a special day.
Over the next few weeks, I expect to have more free time, and I have registered with an NGO that is organising forest-planting events with volunteers from different companies. Before the autumn campaign started yesterday, they ran a full day of training for the newcomers in the organizational team. We drove about 100 km into the countryside, and we ruined the full deployment, from setting the base camp, making coffee and tea, marking the land for plantation, preparing the baby trees, planting them, serving the food, to packing everything back into the trucks, and into the warehouse.
Wow! It was a lot of work, but tremendous fun! We've been around 40 people, and it was cool to meet so many new faces 😀
Looking forward to the next events, when we will be the guides for the big planting events.
