The Bitshares State of the Network Reports seeks to combine raw data from a wide range of metrics and combine them into meaningful information to identify emerging trends and changes in the Bitshares network.

Observation from this week

This section will highlight any observations made while analysing the data.

• Liquidity on the Bitshares DEX has seen a good increase in the last two weeks with last week seeing a 30% increase and this week seeing a 7.6% increase

• Spring BTS Fund is launching on Bitshares. 'Spring BTS Fund is a BTS interior fund jointly initiated by Waterdrip Capital and Ivy Capital. Fund token issuance, subscription, management, and all other operations are carried out on the decentralized exchange and the asset management platform, BitShares. The fund accounts are jointly managed by the two Capital via multiple signatures. All operations are open and transparent.' - Full detailed HERE

• kibana.bitshares.eu is a new tool that allows anyone to create visual representations of historical Bitshares blockchain data. It also has a creatively titled 'TimeLion' which allows you to use a master expression to display data from multiple data sources using an elasticsearch mechanism (sound confusing - we are all in luck as there is a tutorial baked into the platform). • @clockwork has released a post on Bitshares Fees, Fee schedule and Profitability of the DEX. The report concludes that > 85% of the revenue of the DEX comes from non-trading activities. See all the details HERE

• @Stan Larimer has had a reunion with Kevin Harrington of Shark Tank fame at Freedom Fest on Friday the 13th, where the pair attended a live stream with Crypto Connie from Blue Rock Talk - source

• The Blocktivity.info developer has announced his intention to open source the platform. Blocktivity is a great tool and its purpose is to clearly display important information, data and metrics about the blockchains. No hype, no FUD, just the raw material to take good decisions when investing. - source
