@Stan Larimer has shared his vision of a new 'Middlechain' which is aiming to be launched on the 5th of November, which will be a smart contract platform that will sit between EOS and Bitshares and may or may not (watch the video) feature 'jurisdictional agility'. A new release candidate for the Bitshares UI (version 2.0.180926-rc1) has been deployed to the staging environment, The final release is expected on September 12t. You can find the full release notes HERE
