Description from Strava:
The family have been staying at a really old house in Pullborough, West Sussex for a long weekend. Of course I had to do a run whilst there.
This is in the South Downs which tends to be hilly. First I ran past some fields that were largely fenced off and look like there may be plans to build there. Then I ran downhill on a road with no path. There was not much traffic, but I knew I would have to go back up somewhere.
There are some nice old houses around here and it is fairly quiet. I came back through the town and had to consult the map in Strava to check where I was. It had suggested a route, but I decided to cut it a little short. I found a fairly steep path back up the hill and got back to the house. There was still nobody else up.
I managed to me make it exactly 5km, so it can make up for missing parkrun. There is not one too near to here. That is enough for a workout before breakfast. It was fairly warm.
Enjoy your weekend and ruin free.
