Description from Strava:
I was pace running 32 minutes again this week. I jogged up there and met up with one of the regulars on the way. The old bike looked abandoned, but it was gone when I cam back. Conditions were looking good despite the heavy rain yesterday. The course was a little soft, but not muddy. The grass has grown though.
I tried to keep to the right pace guided by my watch, but it is easy to go too quickly. One lady stayed with me the whole way and there may have been a few behind trying to keep up. The leaders lapped us when we were about half way and then we lapped the tail walkers on our last lap.
As we reached the last corner the lady with me went off and got a personal best, so I had done my job. She did thank me afterwards. I see one of my friends got a PB too.
There were just over 200 there. That is not as many as the last pacer event, but still good. I jogged home and may well have been quicker than I was on the actual run as that was slower than my regular pace.
Have a great weekend and run free.
