Description from Strava:
I was at our regular pub music session last night. You can see some pictures of that from @anna-newkey (on Hive). I was doing some tunes I had not played in ages and tried some that were apt for Halloween.
It was a fairly nice morning and I decided to take advantage of the kids being off school to do a different route. I took the new road to the bypass. It is still open fields around that, but in the next year or two there will be lots of new houses there. After the bridge it is into Etonbury Woods before heading past the school that was all quiet. I went as far as Stotfold before heading back along Pendleton Way (named after our local Olympian).
I stopped at the outdoor gym for a few arm exercises (kettle bell lifts and dips). Then I took the long way home, but avoided the fields that may be muddy.
I tried to keep the pace up and it ended up the same as yesterday overall, but with less hills. This is better than I was doing a few months ago, so my fitness must be improving. Maybe I will try to improve on some of my segment times.
I hope to be at parkrun on Saturday as I have not run there for a few weeks. From Saturday we also start the Move-ember challenge at work where we try to get the most kilometres for our team. I will log more walking and try to extend my runs a bit. I will not post all these activities on Hive though. That will only get those where I write a description and @strava2hive picks it up.
Run free and have fun.
