Hello, community friends, how are you? I hope you’ve had an excellent and productive day. I’m doing well, thank God—though I do have a swollen finger from a hit I took while doing freestyle, and it still hasn’t fully healed. Still, that didn’t stop me from completing my training.
So, today was a bit of a busy day. Early in the morning, I went out with some friends to buy a few things, and that took up the whole morning and part of the afternoon—but nothing too crazy. Later, we stayed at a friend’s house practicing some songs, since one of them really enjoys singing, and since I play guitar, we started rehearsing a few tracks. The expectations were a bit high for the result we got, haha, but it’s nothing that can’t be improved with time.
As for my training, I kicked off the week with the usual: a solid planche workout. To be honest, I couldn’t finish my full routine because I started a bit late, and that was due to the rain—it rained all afternoon, and I had to head to my bro’s house almost at night. But once I got there, we warmed up right away and jumped into our training. We both did planche, each with our own routine. Mine consisted of one straddle planche press plus hold for 2 sets, then 3 sets of straddle holds, followed by 4 sets of half butterfly, then 4 sets of 2 frog presses, continued with 3 sets of 6 seconds in tuck advance, and finished with 3 sets of 2 tuck presses. I missed the push basics like 90-degree holds and handstand push-ups, but it was already late and I had to head back home—so maybe tomorrow I’ll do some basics after my front lever routine.
