I've had a wonderful experience as far as digital drawing is concerned. The past few months have seen me doing more of Digital drawings than traditional pencils drawings.
Am I happy about it? No... I'd like to balance both digital and traditional drawings but I'm not sure anyone can really balance it out. Maybe if any artist here has any tips as I'd also like to improve more on my pencil skills.

Selecting a palate for drawing black skin tones has been a big big issue for me. When I select for myself, it appears either too saturated or not even saturated enough. Sometimes, I'm probably using a totally wrong shade to shade on another wrong shade. More like a mix up of errors. I'm sure many artists go through this a lot.
The easy part done...sketching my beautiful client. Honestly, no stress here. The finger strokes just have to be effortless as you would stroke a dog. I enjoyed this bit.
Adding the base colour on which every other shade will fall on was confusing. Honestly, I'm not so good when it comes to this so I just picked a shade balanced in between - Guess that's what I'd be doing from now. Shading went on from there.. three extra shades.. a lighter shade and a two darker shades and then a little bit of glow effect.
Making the hair wasn't that much of a hassle. If there's anything I know how to do easily, it's illustrating hair.
Created a custom background.. added my logo and BOOM... There we go.
Although this work was commissioned, I'll be doing a lot more of this style of art soon and most probably, I'll even delve into vector art.
