Abbey Pond. Addison County, Vermont. Near Middlebury, Vermont. Abbey Pond is a moderate hike. 4.3 miles round trip. 1200 ft elevation gain. About 2.5 hours.
Beaver Pond near Ripton, Vermont off of a section of the VAST Trail. Near Robert Frost mountain. We just hiked a section of the Vermont Association of Snow Travelers trail network. Easy hikes in the summer.

We also try to explore the little Vermont towns when out and about. This is the Ripton Country Store. Seems every village has one and most are unique and fun.
Another shot from Abby Pond this is a nice hike we try to do at least once every summer. The shore is mostly maples so its a nice place to check fall colors also.
