“My wedding is in May!”,

she said. I was so excited when my friend called to inform me of finally having a date for her wedding. It was a Saturday in May! I’ve had a busy week, and it was so relaxing knowing that I have the whole weekend to relax and celebrate with my friend. Prior to getting the date, we already had plans, but the plans kept falling through because the major deciding factor was not ready yet. So, when we got the date, the plan kicked off once again.  “I want a Rose-Gold colour, but I don’t know the style yet”, so the search began. One thing I am very good at though is eye for fits and colours. I don’t mean literally, but I use my imagination quite well when I choose outfit styles and colours. The complexion and stature of the individual plays a huge role in helping my imaginations pick the perfect style and colour for a person, and that was what I did. In our search for style, we found a perfect one that would suit my friend, and oh, it did suit her perfectly. She glowed in the coolness of the colour and the luxury of the style like she “ate and left no crumbs”. Her smile complimented the fits perfectly and the day was more colourful because of the excitement in the air.  The night before, the friends of the bride planned a surprise bridal shower. Hard girl she is, but she shed a tear of joy. We had cake, chops, drinks, and beautiful photo sessions with me behind the camera because more than being the bride’s friend, “I was there for the pix”. We gisted into the night, slept late, yet woke up all hearty and strong because we had a long day ahead of us. On the morning of the wedding, we had a quick “video session”, and the result is mind-blowing. My friend made a beautiful bride, and more than that, she’s got the best man for her because his gentleness with her on that day was so beautiful to see. His eyes were full of love, and admiration for her, and I honestly couldn’t have wished less for my friend. I had a blast capturing their beautiful moments, honestly, and here’s one of the shots I took on that day.
