Hello to all members of this community, photography and art lovers! Museums and galleries generally have a set timeframe for certain works to be displayed, but others are pieces that are part of the space and can be appreciated regardless of the time that passes. This is what happens with the pieces I'm about to show you, which are found throughout the open spaces of the Museum of Fine Arts of Caracas.

When you enter the museum, you can see an image showing the different sculptures and their respective information. I really like it because it allows visitors to find the pieces as if it were a kind of "treasure hunt," since they are located in different places in the museum, so you never know where you'll come across one. The day I took these photographs, I didn't find all of them, and I also found some that weren't listed, but I made a decent find, so I'll show them to you ✨

I don't remember the order in which I took the photographs, as I did so as I walked through the spaces and encountered the sculptures. I tried to make the most of the lighting, and luckily, almost all the works were in good positions, unlike some that were backlit.

The wonder of sculptures lies not only in their form, but also in the different materials the artists used to create them. I like to focus on those pieces where you can appreciate different textures through certain engravings or details in the material. The meticulousness is evident.

Some express situations through the human figure, while others are more abstract. I'll always find it interesting how a visual artist can take his or her idea from a sketch to a finished piece. Especially in sculptures, which always require such dedicated work.

If you have the opportunity to visit this museum, I invite you to wander around and find these sculptures. On my next visit, I'll try to photograph the ones I missed.

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad, amantes de las fotografías y del arte! Por lo general, las salas de los museos y galerías, tienen un tiempo determinado para mantener algunas obras en exposición, pero otras, se tratan de piezas que se encuentran en el espacio como parte del mismo y pueden ser apreciadas sin importar el tiempo que pase. Es lo que ocurre con las piezas que estoy por mostrarles, las cuales son obras que se encuentran a lo largo de los espacios abiertos del Museo de Bellas Artes de Caracas.

Cuando ingresas al museo, puedes ver una imagen en donde te muestran las distintas esculturas que hay con su respectiva información. Me gusta mucho porque le permite al visitante encontrar las piezas como si fuera una especie de "búsqueda del tesoro", ya que las mismas se hallan en diferentes lugares del museo, así que nunca sabes en dónde te toparás con una. El día que tomé estas fotografías, no los hallé en su totalidad, así como encontré con algunas que no estaban en el listado, pero hice un hallazgo decente, así que se las mostraré ✨

No recuerdo el orden en que tomé las fotografías, ya que lo hacía a medida que caminaba por los espacios y me iba encontrando con las esculturas. Traté de aprovechar lo mejor posible la iluminación y por suerte, casi todas las obras estaban en buena posición a diferencia de algunas que estaban a contraluz.

Lo maravilloso de las esculturas, no sólo se encuentra en su forma, sino también en los distintos materiales que utilizaron los artistas para crearlas. Me gusta fijarme en esas piezas en dónde se pueden apreciar diferentes texturas a través de algunos grabados o detalles en el material. Se nota la meticulosidad.

Algunas expresan situaciones a través de la figura humana, mientras que otras, son más que nada abstractas. Siempre me parecerá interesante el modo en que el artista plástico puede llevar su idea desde un boceto hasta la pieza terminada. Sobre todo en las esculturas, que siempre requieren un trabajo de tanta dedicación.

Si tienen la oportunidad de ir a éste museo, los invito a pasearse por los espacios y hallar estas esculturas. En mi siguiente visita, procuraré fotografiar las que me faltaron.
