CONTENIDO EN ESPAÑOL

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad y amantes de la escritura creativa! Luego de un día bastante relajante, en el cual por fin, siento que descansé, me dedico a redactar mi participación para el concurso. Si bien, escribir me parece una actividad relajante, hay veces en las que el bloqueo aparece y simplemente, las ideas no surgen jaja lo bueno de estas iniciativas, es que siento que ayudan en a que esos momentos de bloqueo se dispersen 😉

Creo que no fui la única que quedé con la boca hecha agua luego de ver la fotografía jaja Casualmente, esta semana me estaba preguntando cuál de los cumpleaños de mis familiares estaba más próximo, ya que no como pastel casero desde que mi hermano cumplió años el pasado mes de Octubre. Y no es que sea tan dulcera, o sea, me gusta el dulce, pero no sufro de "ansiedad por el azúcar"; pero los pasteles que hace mi @pinina, mi madre, son otro nivel.

Como ella ha mostrado en su blog, ha tomado la iniciativa de obsequiar un pastel a cualquier integrante de la familia que esté de cumpleaños y no sólo eso, se esmera en que el pastel sea del gusto del festejado. Este año, seleccioné una imagen que me gustó muchísimo para la decoración de mi pastel, la cual, mi madre mandó a imprimir en papel de arroz. El pastel era de chocolate y estaba completamente delicioso.

Pero comer tanto pastel de chocolate (el cual, es el predilecto de mis familiares), me ha llevado a darme cuenta de que no es mi tipo de pastel favorito. De hecho, creo que me gusta más el bizcocho relleno y cubierto de crema, con muchas fresas ¡Amo las fresas! Así que, posiblemente así pida mi pastel para mi cumpleaños... aunque para eso, ya falta casi un año jaja.

Uno de los deseos de mi madre, es tener su propio negocio de repostería, porque se le da muy bien. Hasta le han pedido pasteles por encargo, porque saben que los suyos, son deliciosos y muy lindos. Aunque, por los momentos, se trate de una actividad que realice esporádicamente, ya que su trabajo le consume todo el día, sin mencionar que ingredientes y el lugar para ofrecer el producto, es otro tema.

Me gustaría que poco a poco, ella pudiese lograr consolidar su negocio, así sea de forma online por los momentos (como yo estoy buscando de hacer con mi tienda online), así que, al menos ya le he ayudado con tomándole fotografías que le sirvan como "portafolio" jaja ya le instalé tiktok, así que sólo queda que aprenda a subir videos allí o acabar gestionando sus redes sociales jaja quién sabe.

ENGLISH CONTENT

Hello to all members of this community and creative writing enthusiasts! After a very relaxing day, in which I finally feel like I've rested, I'm dedicating myself to writing my entry for the contest. While I find writing a relaxing activity, there are times when writer's block hits and the ideas just don't come, haha. The good thing about these initiatives is that I feel they help to dispel those moments of writer's block 😉

I think I wasn't the only one whose mouth watered after seeing the picture, haha. Coincidentally, this week I was wondering which of my family members' birthdays was coming up next, since I haven't had homemade cake since my brother's birthday last October. And it's not that I have a huge sweet tooth—I mean, I like sweets, but I don't suffer from "sugar cravings"—but the cakes my mom, @pinina, makes are on another level.

As she's shown on her blog, she's taken the initiative to give a cake to any family member who has a birthday, and not only that, she goes to great lengths to make sure the cake is to the birthday person's liking. This year, I chose an image I really loved to decorate my cake, which my mom had printed on rice paper. The cake was chocolate and absolutely delicious.

But eating so much chocolate cake (which is my family's favorite) has made me realize it's not my favorite kind of cake. In fact, I think I prefer a sponge cake filled and covered with cream and lots of strawberries. I love strawberries! So, that's probably what I'll order for my birthday cake... although that's almost a year away, haha.

One of my mother's dreams is to have her own baking business because she's very good at it. She's even had custom cake orders because people know hers are delicious and beautiful. Although, for now, it's something she only does sporadically, since her job takes up all her time, not to mention that finding the right ingredients and a place to sell her products is another story.

I'd like her to gradually consolidate her business, even if it's online for now (like I'm trying to do with my online store). So, I've already helped her by taking photos for her portfolio, haha. I've even installed TikTok for her, so now she just needs to learn how to upload videos there or maybe end up managing her social media herself, haha, who knows?
