Qué alegría me da volver por acá con un post que tenía tiempo queriendo compartirles, pues aunque llegue tarde por trabajo, pude asistir a la primera válida oriental o competencia de botes en Pampatar, propuesta por la Alcaldía de Maneiro, donde tengo entendido se harían varias actividades, claro, la competencia en sí tendría sus retos, pero además de eso, habría lugares donde comer, pasarla genial y por supuesto disfrutar de lo hermosa que es Pampatar. Más, debo serles sincera, pues a pesar de que vivo en Jorge Col (a unos 10 minutos de este sitio) se me hizo sumamente complicado llegar siquiera a la entrada de Pampatar, pues estaba todo muy abarrotado de gente, carros, motos, era un poco desastroso, supongo que era lo normal, pues Pampatar pequeño y la cantidad de personas que asistieron al evento eran demasiadas, esto pasó el 09 de agosto, un sábado si no mal recuerdo, donde tuve toda la mañana ocupada trabajando y luego en la tarde es cuando pude intentar llegar hasta allá, estaba tan complicado que primero hice una parada en La Mar, un restaurante que está en la playa, y justo desde allí pude visualizar mejor todo el panorama y tomar fotografías del evento.

Even though I'm late due to work, I was able to attend the first Eastern Parade or boating competition in Pampatar, proposed by the Maneiro City Hall. I understand there would be several activities. Of course, the competition itself would have its challenges, but beyond that, there would be places to eat, have a great time, and of course, enjoy the beauty of Pampatar. More, I must be honest, even though I live in Jorge Col (about 10 minutes from this place) it was extremely difficult for me to even get to the entrance of Pampatar, because it was all very crowded with people, cars, motorcycles, it was a bit disastrous, I guess it was normal, because Pampatar is small and the amount of people who attended the event were too many, this happened on August 9th, a Saturday if I remember correctly, where I had the whole morning busy working and then in the afternoon is when I was able to try to get there, it was so complicated that first I made a stop at La Mar, a restaurant that is on the beach, and right from there I was able to better see the whole panorama and take pictures of the event.

--- --- --- Una vez estando en el Círculo Militar - La Mar, se nos hizo obvio al ver tantas personas que por esa razón se nos hizo imposible llegar hasta allá, pues la cantidad de personas que había en toda la bahía de Pampatar era impresionante a lo lejos, algunos amigos estaban allí y dijeron que estaba repleto, tanto que no había ni donde estacionarse, así que me toco disfrutar de lo que quedaba del evento desde acá, donde gracias a mi cámara (es toda una guerrera), pude capturar algunas lanchas aun compitiendo, realmente iban súper rápido, entre volando y andando sobre el mar, algunos con dos personas y otras con 8 personas, no sé si se trató de algún reto durante la competencia, pero realmente se veía que había adrenalina en el aire jajaja. Tengo entendido que la competencia comenzó muy temprano, de 10:am hasta las 5:30pm, hubo participación de artistas, emprendedores, shows, concursos, exhibición de carros/motos, comida, fue un evento grande donde también asistieron personas de estados cercanos. Hubo tres categorías a evaluar, siendo la primera los botes de 6 metros, la segunda es categoría botes conchita y la última fuerza libre, todo esto para saber quién es el mar rápido de todos, si no mal recuerdo cada categoría contaba con no más de 12 participantes.

Once we were at the Círculo Militar - La Mar, it became clear to us, seeing so many people, that for that reason it was impossible for us to get there, since the number of people in the entire Pampatar Bay was impressive from a distance. Some friends were there and said it was packed, so much so that there was nowhere to park, so I had to enjoy the rest of the event from here. Thanks to my camera (it's a real warrior), I was able to capture some boats still competing. They were really going super fast, flying and riding on the sea, some with two people and others with eight. I don't know if it was some kind of challenge during the competition, but you could really see the adrenaline in the air hahaha. I understand that the competition started very early, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with participation from artists, entrepreneurs, shows, contests, car/motorcycle exhibitions, and food. It was a large event also attended by people from neighboring states. There were three categories to be evaluated, the first being the 6-meter boats, the second being the shell boats category, and the last being free force, all of this to find out who was the fastest sea of ​​all. If I remember correctly, each category had no more than 12 participants.

--- --- --- Nunca había visto tanta multitud junta, lo cual asusta un poco, más si se tiene conciencia de cuidar lo que tanto disfrutamos no resulta tan aterrador, y aquí hago un pequeño llamado a la conciencia, pues luego de este gran evento, el cual sin duda alguna fue exitoso, algunas personas, incluyéndome quedamos algo molestas, pues a pesar de todo el esfuerzo por realizar un evento así, no se puso el mismo esfuerzo a la hora de crear conciencia sobre no ensuciar las playas y dejarlas lindas y hermosas, así como te las consigues siempre!!! Este evento dejó a su rastro una playa sucia, llena de basura por todos lados, si cada una de las personas que estuvieron allí, hubieran tenido respeto por las hermosas playas que tiene su país Venezuela, entonces diría que el evento si fue un éxito rotundo, pues no es solo ir y disfrutar, también es cuidar, valorar y respetar 🙏🏻. Si vas a una playa, lleva una bolsa para colocar la basura de lo que consumes, también limpia a los a los rededores de donde te encuentres, no es difícil, al contrario, demostremos que Margarita se puede disfrutar siendo responsables y sobre todo, cuidando nuestra amada perla del caribe 🌊✨. Fue bonito presenciar por primera vez un evento de botes así haya sido a lo lejos, los paisajes que tiene la Isla son bellísimos, espero el próximo año poder acercarme mejor y por supuesto, que la alcaldía, tenga un mejor manejo a la hora de crear conciencia, hasta aquí mi post, me despido con mucho cariño, deseándoles prosperidad y buena salud.

It was nice to witness a boating event for the first time, even if it was from afar. The island's landscapes are beautiful.
