¡Hola amigos!! Qué gusto me da volver por acá con un tema que llevo años tratando con personas aquí en Margarita, y es, buenos lugares para degustar postres, pues siendo hija de una mamá cocinera y repostera, tengo mucha exigencia a la hora de degustar postres, aunque lo de ser quisquillosa se me da de forma general. Pasa que, cuando vivía en Lechería, tierra firme, había encontrado un sitio donde ir siempre a degustar postres, Yita's Cake, si tienen la oportunidad de ir, no la desaprovechen, nada me ha decepcionado de esa tienda, de hecho, tenía un postre favorito, el cheesecake de maracuyá, ufff no puedo describirles lo exquisito que este era, siempre compraba uno, el mejor que he probado siendo totalmente sincera con ustedes, al mudarme a Margarita, esa odisea de adaptarme a nuevos cambios, fue dura. Pero en la parte de postres, no tarde mucho en encontrar buenos lugares, y este es uno de ellos, aunque tiene fama de precios elevados, siento que van de acorde a lo que ofrecen, pues los postres aquí son de suma calidad y exquisitos, cada que puedo, pruebo alguno, de hecho, Fressier se encarga de mis tortas de cumpleaños y las de mi familia desde que llegue a la Isla. Nunca había probado un cheesecake aquí, así que aproveché que fuimos con un vecino (esta recién operado y quería salir a distraerse), así que fuimos a degustar esta delicia y además pedimos una torta de chocolate. La torta de chocolate estaba muy buena, pero el cheesecake me decepcionó!! Cosa que no me esperaba, su sabor era casi nulo, en cuanto a textura estaba perfecta, pero no tenía un sabor intenso, era muy leve, y para mí, los buenos postres, son intensos, ojo no empalagosos, hablar de intensidad es resaltar sabores, no dulzor. Aun así, disfruté mucho esta visita y me lleve una gran torta para un cumpleaños que como siempre estaba super sabrosa, no todo es perfecto, solo es algo que deben mejorar en este postre 😅.

Being the daughter of a mother who cooks and bakes, I'm very picky when it comes to desserts, although I'm generally picky. It turns out that when I lived in Lechería, on the mainland, I had found a place I always went to try desserts: Yita's Cake. If you have the chance to go, don't pass it up. Nothing has disappointed me at that shop. In fact, I had a favorite dessert: the passion fruit cheesecake. Wow, I can't describe how exquisite it was. I always bought one, the best I've ever had. To be completely honest with you, when I moved to Margarita, that odyssey of adapting to new changes was tough. But when it comes to desserts, it didn't take long to find good places, and this is one of them. Although it has a reputation for high prices, I feel they match what they offer, as the desserts here are of the highest quality and exquisite. I try one whenever I can. In fact, Fressier has been in charge of my birthday cakes and those of my family since I arrived on the island. I'd never had a cheesecake here, so I took advantage of the fact that I was with a neighbor (he'd recently had surgery and wanted to go out for some fun), so we went to taste this delicacy and also ordered a chocolate cake. The chocolate cake was very good, but the cheesecake disappointed me! Something I wasn't expecting; its flavor was almost nonexistent. In terms of texture, it was perfect, but it didn't have an intense flavor; it was very mild. And for me, good desserts are intense, not cloying. Speaking of intensity is about highlighting flavors, not sweetness. Even so, I really enjoyed this visit and I took home a great birthday cake that, as always, was super tasty. Not everything is perfect, it's just something they need to improve on this dessert 😅.
