Hello everyone.
The story I want to share today isn't just about gardening. It's about determination, joy, and a life truly connected to the land. My story yesterday afternoon was just one of many days filled with effort and rewarding results.
The afternoon sunlight shining down on my palm garden hasn't dampened my resolve. Today I have an important appointment with a harvest I've been waiting for for days. Every palm tree has been well cared for, from small seedlings to tall, proudly producing a harvest. Cutting the palm fruit requires both physical and mental effort, but when I see the bright orange palms that come out in dense clusters on the trees, all the tiredness disappears.
After harvesting a satisfying amount of palm fruit, I loaded all the fruit onto my trusty tricycle and drove to a familiar palm buying yard. The familiar dirt road wasn't tiring at all, as I was filled with hope and smiles. Upon reaching the buying yard, all the palms were weighed and assessed for quality, earning a price of 6.50 baht per kilogram, a very good price. The result was a profit of over 900 baht, which brought me immense happiness. This money wasn't just a reward for my hard work, but also a confirmation that my efforts hadn't been in vain. After selling the palms, I headed to the fertilizer store.
Today's main goal was to buy a few more high-quality oil palm trees to plant in the garden. This is because the farmers' belief is that they should always develop and maintain their gardens. Upon arriving at the shop, I was amazed by the variety of products here. In addition to the many brands of fertilizer lined up on the shelves, there was also a complete range of agricultural equipment, from palm cutting knives, hoes, gloves, and even mouse traps, essential for farmers. What surprised me even more was that the shop also sold women's shoes. It truly is a one-stop shop.
After exploring and capturing the fascinating scenery to my heart's content, I began shopping for my intended items. I chose a bag of 25-7-7 fertilizer for 1,100 baht to nourish the palms in the orchard and ensure their strong growth. I also didn't forget to buy two high-quality oil palm trees, each for 250 baht, for a total of 500 baht. After shopping, the staff presented me with another bill. It was exactly 3:30 p.m., and I knew I had to go back and apply fertilizer that evening. Gardening isn't just a job; it's a way of life that teaches us to appreciate effort, patience, and the joy that comes from doing it ourselves every step of the way. I returned to the orchard with a joyful heart and the joy of doing what I love. These small successes each day are what drive me to continue on my path as a determined farmer who takes pride in what they do.
For today, I must say goodbye, my friends. See you again next time. Thank you for following and supporting me. Thank you very much. 🥰🙏🏻🙏❤️
