These owls nested at the edge of the woods at my cousin's house. The young owls were very hard to photograph from a distance without scaring them. They were certainly very curious watching us.

I think this was one of the adult owls, it stayed high in the tree keeping a close eye out for the young ones. It will be interesting to see if these owls stay in those woods nearby and nest again next year.
