If you are anything like me, you may wonder where the time goes so quickly. I can hardly believe that I have been posting on Hive for 9 years now. I have to admit, my days would not be the same if I stopped interacting with all of my friends from around this wonderful globe we share.

There are so many communities that I've joined over the years. If it wasn't for their support and inspiration I don't know if I would have lasted this long. However, within each community I have come to know so many people that I would consider family. How about you? Do you feel the same about those that you interact with from time to time?

There isn't enough space on this page to name all of you that have become an integral part of my life. Perhaps someday we will meet in person or for sure in spirit to give each other a high five for being there for each other during the ups and the downs of life.

I would like to thank the communities that I post in often for the support and curation that each person takes the time to do every day. Without them, where would we be? If you follow me or stumble across a post of mine, it is usually garden related and posted in #hivegarden and monthly with #gardenjournal.

Then of course the next would be #foodiesbeehive when I typically share how I preserve the gardens harvest. I do a lot of canning and freezing the veggies for the pantry. It is great to have homegrown food to use year-round.

Sometimes I will share in the #silverbloggers community when I have something I feel the other members would enjoy seeing. Usually, it will be photos of nature that I've taken or maybe just sharing my thoughts for the day.

When I do take time to get away from the house; I try to take photos for the #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay whom I have known from the very beginning of joining hive. He always encouraged me to keep taking photos when I felt mine were not good enough. Thank you, Jay!

Also, if you have pets like I do, you are probably familiar with #caturday and #dpet where we get to share of fur baby photos.

Once in a while, I get some good photos of the birds that visit my backyard haven. I like to share them in the #featheredfriends community created by @nelinoeva who is always looking for new ideas on birdwatching photography. If you like birding, be sure to join the community.

There is another person that has been a longtime friend and that would be @melinda010100 and she has been running the #shadowhunters community for years. You won't want to miss joining and looking for that perfect shadow to share. Plus, the newest would be #reflectionhunters with @olgavita doing a fantastic job.

From time to time, I post in #fungifriday, #sublimesunday, #hivepets, and #photographylovers, and many more.

I would like to encourage you to find those communities that would interest you. There are so many to choose from and meeting new people is by far the best part of being on Hive. If you've recently joined Hive that would be my first recommendation. Community is everything here, and I cannot thank everyone enough for all the fantastic support from each and every one of them.

With that, I wish myself a Happy 9th Birthday and look forward to many more years to come.
