I'm back!

It sure has been a while! But let's get back into it this week with what I love - playing guitar, and most of all, jamming out to some blues! :)

etting back to some fun jams! Love this track, has a "Sloe Gin" by Joe Bonamassa vibe. Man, he can play. I have many great memories listening to Sloe Gin with my good friend Mikey where we would just be in awe from Joe's blistering playing, feel, tone, expression, energy... watch JB's solo live at Royal Albert Hall if you want some real playing! I stive to be able to rock solos like that one day :D

Played on my Les Paul Custom (Epiphone) - I am really enjoying this guitar these days. I do still have my other Epiphone LP Custom, which I will switch back to soon, the neck actually feels more comfortable on that one. I hardly play my Stapleton or my LTD these days. Give the ole acoustic a strum every few days though! I am super bust with work and life these days, I am finding it hard to fit music in as much as I want, and weeks turn into months! This is my own message for accountability... how bad do you want it?

BIG thanks to 'now you shred' for this jam track!

I am playing in my own style here, but have always been influenced by the greats like Gary Moore, Joe Bonamassa and other great blues players. I am starting to incorporate more melodic sections into my solos, like the octaves at the introduction. Almost like a vocal section, rather than just the improved jam section. But, yes, this was another improvised jam. They all are, I can't write solos (unless they are for my original songs!) - thanks everyone, peace and love!
