Nigeria is one country and a land I have come to know with love for many things. Even then as a child, growing up and learning, I was taught of how my beloved country Nigeria is a country blessed with many natural resources which was what kept our forefathers and fathers in there own generation. And hearing of how many investors came in from other countries to invest in Nigeria, I believe many countries were aware of how Nigeria was blessed naturally.
If there is one thing I cherish Nigerians for, it is the ability we have to keep moving despite how hard things become and how tough things keep getting. Because being blessed with natural resources was a thing of the past, a thing that went into thin air, but we still keep making every moment counts individually with the zeal to succeeding against all odds in every area we set our mind for goals.
When we talk of Nigeria, we remember a country with diverse culture and arts which many other countries can testify. Nigeria is a count when mentioned any where, people see us for what they have heard and seen. From the entertainment industry to movie 🎥 productions we are known for. Then music that many of our musicians 🎵 and artists has used in traveling all around the world. We are so unique in fashion which has also made fashion designers to become more creative and moving on their own pace. And still on culture, we should not leave out our foods that many people from other countries have tasted.
And talking about resilience, Nigerians are one strong set of people who never give up easily. This means they believe in hard work and always make sure to succeed. Our well known type of music called Afrobeat has taken most of our music 🎶 artists into successfulness . Many who believed in themselves has taken music around the world. Artist like Wizkid,, Tiwa Savage, Davido, Aria Star, Ashake. These are Artists that has made it to “The World Grammy Awards”. Its thanks to hard work from to being resilient , music 🎶 a melody for the beautiful souls.This is something to be proud of for my country Nigeria 🇳🇬.
And talking about the other side of my country, I mean the bad thing Nigeria is known for from other countries criticism , its fraud and corruption. Nigeria is among the countries that are rated high in fraud and being corrupt. What a bad omen this has brought to Nigerians. “Fraud and scam” are two bad dent a country should be known for which has really affected us internationally, but people should also know that its not every Nigerian that is a fraudster. We have many men snd women who made their success through hard work 😓 and up until today many are still struggling in a genuine way to make it.
And apart from the online fraud and scamming, the corruption in the country is also affecting our economy and the people of Nigeria , so its so sad to see this going on even in this era of 21st Century when people are moving on through the opportunities technology and innovation has brought to the world 🌍. We believe that change must surely come as the young one pick up from this new opportunities of this century.
However, it all boils down to how our leaders from the past generations has made things to be because if things were align properly from the beginning, youths will not grow up to be living through scamming others. Because the government and those who called themselves leaders in a country known as “Giant Of Africa” could not situate things from the on set due to greed and insatiability, they stole all that is for the citizens and made it theirs. Leaving generations to come without nothing. And even up until now, the leaders are still stealing from what is left of the nation. This is the root of fraud, scam and corruption which keeps spreading among generation and keeps affecting the innocent ones. Its now a case of “survival of the fittest”. and “suffering and smiling” among the innocents 😇. The “Giant Of Africa” we still believe in will come to stand because change is the only thing constant.
