"Ever since".
I was a child, there were many activities that made my passion vibrate: playing soccer, painting, learning languages, and music; but especially the ability to express music truly made me a dreamer. At a young age, while in elementary school, I tried to join some musical projects the school offered—choir singing was the most common—but my abilities weren't good enough to belong to a choir. Luckily, I didn't take this as a defeat; I knew about my capacity to learn, and that was the most important thing.
Even though I had a nice voice, it wasn't enough to consider becoming a singer, which led me to a personal learning process. I started consuming a lot of music, music that resembled my style and taste. Thanks to this, my ear developed, and with it, my skills when performing became stronger. During my pre-university stage, while attending school and striving to earn a degree and eventually a Bachelor's in Foreign Languages, music was always present in my daily development. After getting into university, that's where I was able to explore the potential necessary to seriously consider singing with better skill. At this point, with a more prepared voice and more developed technique, I dared to participate in various events and festivals promoted by the University, where I even achieved very good results, winning first place in an amateur artists' festival.
This made me want to learn even more, and I ventured into the world of strings when I bought my first guitar. From there, everything improved. By learning basic aspects and with a better learning methodology, I was able to perform solo and rely on my musical qualities. Thanks to all of this, today I can share music on this great Blockchain that is Hive and enjoy every post. I know I'm still nowhere near my best version as a singer or guitarist, but today I can allow myself to feel less incompetent than a few years ago and, above all, keep learning every day.
Thank you
