Hello hivians, trust we are doing great. Wow.. Interesting topic as always. This is real life issues that happens almost every day. It's an everyday life thing. Some people make promises when they need financial assistance from you and then end up not meeting up with the deadline as promised to refund.
Has this happened to me 🥺? Yes ! Though it wasn't my doing or my choice to break the promise but it was due to not getting enough support for the event. Every January 1st to the weekend of school resumption we have the children in my church go into a fast to prepare them for the new year and also going back to school.

We have a ritual of ending the fast with tea bread and fried eggs. But this year due to high cost of things we weren't able to provide fried eggs. Firstly provision is made through parents and it was what we got from parents that we managed to prepare the tea and others.
So it was heart breaking having to explain to them that there's no egg to take with the bread.
It took a while to get them settled and agree that there's no egg this year and they weren't happy at all.
Someone came up to want to promise them that they will have eggs in another programme down the year . But the cost of eggs didn't drop even when we had that programme we still couldn't give them fried eggs. But they weren't expecting so it wasn't hard to move fast and get them to eat what was available. And they ate with joy.
Making promises and keeping them is very important to the person you are making it to. They put their trust on you believing that you won't fail them and that no matter what you are different from the lot. This is my understanding of making promises and I try not to Fail or break the hearts of those that trust me that much.
That's my take on the topic 😀 😉 Till next topic Peace.
