Hello NeedleWorkMonday people! On Monday a friend of mine had her birthday, since last week I had planned to crochet a little gift for her, but I was too lazy to make it, besides I was focused on another project that I will show you later, so I couldn't have it ready on time.
---
Luckily she didn't go to school that day, so I spent part of the night and the next day preparing her gift in a bit of a hurry. She is VERY VERY much a Kirby fan, so obviously I had to make her that character she loves so much.
---

I thought about making a Kirby chef since she loves cooking, but the white was not enough, I also thought about making a Kirby with curly hair (my option 1) but I didn't have enough brown yarn, the good thing is that on Pinterest I found a very cute model that came to save my night.
---
It was a sleepy Kirby, without thinking too much I started making it following the pattern:
Body
1-6sc into mr
2-sc,inc
3-2sc,inc
4-3sc,inc
6-9- sc
10-(3sc,decx3) bbl stitch in front loop, (3sc,decx2) bbl stich again, 3sc
11-2sc,dec
12-dec

When I finished my little pink ball, I stuffed it with cotton and some red yarn from an old job that hadn't turned out well, as I had run out of cotton. I then made the little legs starting with 6sc in a magic ring, then increased and knitted stitch by stitch the last two rounds.
---

Then I made the star, to tell you the truth this was my favorite part of the knitting, I really like making them, plus it's easy, I just had to make two and join them together, I followed the pattern:
1-5sc into mr
2-inc
3-sc,inc
4-2sc,inc
5-3sc,inc
6-hdc,dc,hdc,sc in the same stitch, slst and repeat.
---

I joined both with yellow yarn and added a little padding to make it look like a little pillow, then I made the night cap with purple, I don't like that yarn but I had to use it😒
Night cap
1-6sc into mr
2-sc
3-sc,inc
4-sc
5-2sc,inc
6-sc
7-3sc,inc

By this time it was about 10 o'clock at night and I was super tired, but I couldn't go to sleep without having all the pieces ready, so finishing each one felt great. The next morning I simply put them all together with yarn of the corresponding color.
---
I also made the face with brown yarn and added blush, when I had it ready I showed it to my mom and she said it was very nice, I added an extra note for my friend and I kept it in decorative paper.
---

Obviously I couldn't miss the photos for my page, I've been a little discouraged since I lost two valuable followers😓 but my business partner finally got his act together and started to do his marketing work, hopefully the account will grow soon. Anyway, how did you like little Kirby?
