I absolutely LOVED the entries and
the general support!
I was thrilled with the response both from the entrants and the community in general. In the end there were eight entries, each one not only giving me a glimpse of who they actually are as a person. They also portrayed some of their personal experiences and an idea of how they help the LGBT+ community both within and without Steemit.
Some of my criteria to choose the winners included: * the depth and substance of the post they entered * the impact the Steem Power would have for the minnow * potential benefits the winner would provide to the community * and the entrants time and activity here on Steemit
With as difficult as it was to choose winners, I decided to collect together an additional 800 Steem Power to add to the prize pool!!

Quick Announcement: #LGBT room is now open in Steemit.Chat
Up until now, we didn't actually have a public #LGBT room in Steemit.Chat. But this has now been fixed. It will be meant as a place for anybody to hangout, chat and share their LGBT related posts. (All promotion posts will have to have at least one LGBT related tag.) This channel is being moderated, already being headed up by @Ancapbarbie and @Saphhic. So feel free to hop in to say hello and share some of your posts.
