Esta vez no hay que elegir, hay una sola etiqueta, la verde, color que normalmente se asocia con esperanza, con vida, con frescura.
Apenas miré la imagen sentí alivio y recordé un video de Yokoi Kenji en el que explicaba que, aunque pensáramos que la vida de los jóvenes de hoy en día es más fácil que la de los que somos de algunas décadas atrás, por la cantidad de opciones que tienen disponibles; no es algo cierto, porque mientras más opciones existen, es más difícil elegir.
Antes, nuestros padres nos decían: harás esto y punto, no había más que pensar, sólo enfocarnos en lo que ellos nos habían asignado. Entonces, pensándolo bien, sí, antes era más fácil.
Y esto lo pensé, porque lo primero que pasó por mi cabeza al ver la fotografía que corresponde a la etiqueta verde fue: Menos mal que sólo es una, ya que en la iniciativa anterior, fue un conflicto para mí escoger entre las opciones disponibles.
Con el tiempo, todo va tomando sentido.
Ahora sí, vamos a lo que me inspira la imagen de esta iniciativa.

La ciudad en la que vivo es muy calurosa y la vegetación es tan hermosamente verde, que me sorprende, porque por la temperatura a la que están expuestas, mi lógica me dice que debieran estar secas.
Ahora, veo la fotografía y lo primero que percibo es frío, pero además tristeza y desolación.
No siento la alegría del verde de mi entorno, es como si ese sitio hubiese sido abandonado, como si le faltara calor humano.
Hay una imagen al fondo que me parece una figura humana alejándose, quizás es un pequeño árbol cubierto por la neblina, pero mi cerebro lo asocia con una persona caminando, quizás hacia las montañas que están detrás y que tampoco veo.
Aunque intento pensar en lo rico que debe ser estar allí, por el clima, siento que hay mucha humedad y no se me hace algo atractivo.
Una de las cosas que no me gusta del sitio donde vivo es que es muy caluroso, pero tampoco se me hace cómodo verme en un escenario diametralmente opuesto.
The city where I live is very hot and the vegetation is so beautifully green that it surprises me, because for the temperature to which they are exposed, my logic tells me that they should be dry.
Now, I see the photograph and the first thing I perceive is cold, but also sadness and desolation.

Although I try to think about how nice it must be to be there, because of the weather, I feel that there is a lot of humidity and it doesn't seem attractive to me.
One of the things I don't like about the place where I live is that it is very hot, but I don't feel comfortable to see myself in a diametrically opposite scenario.

Si tuviera que construir una historia breve a partir de ese paisaje, diría que es un lugar donde solía haber vida, alegría, niños jugando y personas felices, pero que ya no están, sólo queda alguien que eventualmente se acerca, recorre sus recuerdos y al ver el sitio tan solo y vacío, le embarga una terrible nostalgia y entonces da marcha atrás, para refugiarse en el calor de su cabaña, en compañía de su soledad.
If I had to build a short story from that landscape, I would say that it is a place where there used to be life, joy, children playing and happy people, but they are no longer there, only someone who eventually approaches, goes through his memories and upon seeing the place so lonely and empty, he is overcome with a terrible nostalgia and then turns back, to take refuge in the warmth of his cabin, in the company of his solitude.
