Y yo, les muestro mi cariño de todas las maneras que puedo.
A veces sólo escucharlos en silencio, es mi forma de decir: Estoy aquí, para ti; así como darles mi porción favorita de las comidas, esforzarme para que no les falte lo que necesitan, apoyarlos en sus metas y sueños, educarlos con amor... Pero son cosas que haría cualquier madre ¿no?
Al resto del mundo les trato con respeto, con empatía, intento comprender que cada quien lleva a cuestas su mochila y que la de algunos es más pesada que las de otros. Intento no juzgar y en la mayoría de los casos, mi silencio, es lo mejor que les puedo regalar; en otros, unas palabras de aliento y un hombro para llorar.
