La recreación es parte importante de nuestras vidas, esos buenos momentos, que a veces parecen no resaltantes, juegan un papel fundamental para nuestra buena salud mental.
No se si a alguien más le pasa, pero a todos en casa a veces nos cuesta salir. Pareciera que preferimos estar entre 4 paredes, viendo una película o sumidos en el teléfono.
La interacción con el mundo exterior nos mantiene despiertos, el contacto con la naturaleza, nos oxigena, respirar el aire fresco y disfrutar el paisaje nos regala bienestar.
Por el contrario, encerrarnos disminuye nuestras capacidades.
Hace poco fuimos al Parque "Wairaina Repano", más conocido como "El Ávila", en Caracas, mis palabras se quedan cortas ante lo que sentí al estar allí. La última vez que lo visité, fue hace más de 10 años y ahora lo veo igual de majestuoso.
Recreation is an important part of our lives, those good times, which sometimes seem like they don't stand out, play a fundamental role in our good mental health.

Fuimos a la pista de patinaje sobre hielo, sonde mis hijos tuvieron la oportunidad de lanzarse a patinar por primera vez.

La mañana estuvo lluviosa, pero eso no nos detuvo, aunque hacía frío, nos fue suficiente resguardarnos en nuestras chaquetas para caminar bajo aquellas pequeñas gotas de agua, que no vimos como una amenaza.
Nada de pensar en pescar un resfriado, cuando se quiere, no hay excusas, sólo voluntad de avanzar.
Y así llegamos al sitio donde nos esperaba un delicioso chocolate caliente.
Había tantos lugares para elegir, pero yo no me quise arriesgar, pregunté a una chica muy amable que atendía en una de las tiendas de ropa, con la suerte de que me dijo que ella los había probado todos y me dio la ubicación de sus tres sitios favoritos.
Pero además, me dio un dato muy importante, cuál era el más cremoso y cuáles eran los más oscuros.
Mi hijo y yo elegimos el más cremoso y nos pareció la mejor opción. Mi hija y mi esposo eligieron el más cargado, porque a ellos les gusta el chocolate oscuro (a mí me parece muy amargo).
Una investigación previa de lo que queremos hacer, puede ahorrarnos tiempo y dinero, además puede brindarnos una mejor experiencia.

La pasamos super bien, aunque todo el tiempo estuvo lloviendo, hicimos el recorrido que teníamos planificado.
Son gratos recuerdos que merecen ser guardados en nuestra memoria y que son capaces de alimentar en mí la idea de que la vida es bella, sólo tenemos que poner el foco en lo que suma y no en lo que resta.
We had a great time, even though it was raining the whole time, we did the route we had planned.
