World Animal Day

Greetings, members of the #HivePets Community. Today is **World Animal Day**, a day celebrated in honor of Saint Francis of Assisi, a historic figure who loved animals and is now considered the patron saint of wildlife. So today seems like a good day to talk about my current collection of kittens. Yes, I'm a cat lover. I love these four-legged creatures for their personality, their independence, the personality each one possesses, and the energy they transmit to me. > Saludos, gente de la Comunidad #HivePets. Hoy es el **Día Mundial de los Animales**, día que se celebra en homenaje a San Francisco de Asís, una persona histórica que amaba a los animales y que actualmente se considera el santo protector de la fauna. > > Así que hoy me parece un buen día para hablar de mi colección de gatitos que tengo actualmente. Sí, soy amante de los gatos, estos animalitos de 4 patas me encantan por su forma de ser, su independencia, la personalidad que posee cada uno y por la energía que me transmiten.  I think you can imagine who the favorite in the house is. I've talked about him before, and he gave me an unforgettable scare a few weeks ago. [Spinel Sun](https://peakd.com/hive-196708/@takeru255/the-little-one-in-the) stands out among all the others because he's the youngest in the pack and also because of his jet-black color. But most importantly, he's my favorite because from the moment he was born, he established a special connection with me. He chose me as his owner and preferred being with me to his mom. This made him steal my heart without warning. Since then, I must admit, I've spoiled him more than the others. > Creo que se pueden imaginar quién es el favorito en la casa. Me eligió como su dueño y prefería estar conmigo que con su mamá. Esto hizo que me robara el corazón sin previo aviso. Desde entonces, debo admitirlo, lo tengo más consentido que los demás.  He sleeps in my bed and keeps me company quietly, but he often lets me know he's there with me with his constant purring. He's also quite affectionate and lets me pet him a lot. And even though he seems so peaceful, he also likes to play with his siblings and go on walks to explore the surroundings. That's when I pay the most attention to him after that disappearance, when he lay down for hours. And well, Spinel Sun isn't the only one who's special. Although he's the most spoiled, his siblings are also special to me, as is his mom. His mom is the second kitten to join my collection. > Duerme en mi cama y me hace compañia de manera silenciosa, pero muchas veces me hace saber que está alli conmigo con su ronroneo constante. También es bastante cariñoso, se deja acariciar mucho. Y aunque lo vean así de tranquilo, también le gusta jugar con sus hermanos e irse de paseo para explorar los alrededores. > > Es allí cuando estoy más pendiente de él luego de aquella desaparición que se echó por largas horas. Y bueno, no solo **Spinel Sun** es especial. Aunque es el más consentido, sus hermanos también son especiales para mí, al igual que su mamá. Su mamá es la segunda gatita que se unió a mi colección.  *** The first to arrive at my house is **Baby Kitten**, one of the tabbies, the smallest one you see in the photos. I got him three years ago for my birthday. But **Luna**, I was rescued after being hit by a car near where I lived. Since she's been with me and recovered, she's been walking with her paws open and sleeps with them open too. >Before I could spay her, she got pregnant, and from there, her four beautiful kittens were born, making me a grandfather in an instant. I couldn't resist expanding my cat collection. Each one is special in its own way, and even if I have a favorite or one that's more spoiled than others, I love them all equally. > Quién llegó a mi casa primero es **Gatito Bebé**, uno de los atigrados, el más pequeño que se ve en las fotos. A él me lo regalaron hace 3 años en mi cumpleaños. Pero **Luna**, la rescaté luego de ser atropellada cerca de donde vivía. Desde que está conmigo y se recuperó, quedó caminando con las patas abiertas y duerme con las patas así también. > > Antes de poder castrarla salió embarazada y de allí nacieron sus 4 gatitos hermosos, haciéndome abuelo al instante y no pude resistirme hacer crecer mi colección gatuna. Es que cada uno es especial a su manera y aunque tenga un favorito o uno más consentido que otros, a todos los amo por igual.
