How did my Valentine's Day go? Well, it was a memory to be kept forever; it would forever dig deep in my soul and my core memory. It was indeed a day full of love. ♡♡♡
My friend's world does not revolve around me, and so does mine, but how will I always keep them in mine? Well, there's one thing on my mind, and it is to find treasure in every moment that we could be together.
Before Valentine's Day, I was preoccupied with our qualifying interview for OJT abroad. It was so tiring to sit in front of my laptop as I waited for my time to be interviewed. I was full of anxiousness, and I felt so nervous that time. The interview lasted until midnight; I don't have time to prepare much for Valentine's Day, but I really wanted to give my friends something to show them how much I care.
I chose them over sleep; I made them a cute gift, a small daisy from our business' scratch. It took me a while to make a lot as I poured so much in every daisy I made. I put love in it. I might not be very vocal about how much I love my friends, but they're very important to me, and they hold a special place in my heart.
I blinked, and it was Valentine's Day. I was really tired, and it was hard for me to get up from my bed, but I tried my best to get up because it's a special day for me and my friends.
When I arrived at school, I was having second thoughts about giving them what I made. I don't know if they would like it, and I'm kind of embarrassed to give it to them, but then I remembered that I put so much effort into making my gifts for them for the first time.
I was really happy as well when I received a gift from them, so I took all my courage, and I took my gift calmly and gave it to them, barely showing that I was shy. ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂)⸝♡
But my worries faded away when I saw their reactions; their reactions were funny to me. They were kind of overreacting as they received the gift I made for them because it has my face, but still I saw them smile and be overjoyed because of it, and it was enough to warm my heart.
I was so happy when I also received a special gift from one of my closest friends in our big group. I did not expect that she would give us something different from what she gave to my other friends, but it was expected because she also gave us something special last year. ୧⍤⃝💐
During lunch we went to celebrate Valentine's together at Jollibee; if there was enough time, I think it would take us hours to sit there and talk, but because we have class at 1 PM, we hurried to school. Our celebration continued at school, and we can't get enough of the gifts we received.
I was thankful for all that I received from my annoying but feels-like-a-family friend, from the flowers and lollipop to ice cream! I would cherish their effort as well for the rest of my life! We might annoy each other sometimes and fight over small things, but I hope that we will last forever, and I hope your friendship with someone lasts forever as well. To love forever! 𖹭.ᐟ
