Independence Day is Pakistan's national day and is celebrated annually on 14 August.
On this day in 1947, Pakistan became the world's first Islamic republic when it gained independence from British rule.
History of Pakistani Independence Day:
In 1947, the act of independence created the 'Dominion of Pakistan' which covered two different geographic areas known as East and West Pakistan. In 1971 following the Bangladesh Liberation War, East Pakistan parted from West Pakistan and became Bangladesh.
Public Life
Independence Day is an official holiday in Pakistan on August 14. All governmental, non-governmental offices, organizations, educational institutions, post offices, and major markets are closed.
Public transport remains unavailable on all major routes. Traffic congestion is common due to Independence Day parades.
4th August, the day of independence, the time when the two nation theory get success and become the main cause of independence of our beloved homeland Pakistan, the Muslims of subcontinent get the freedom, along with the leadership of great leader Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Muslims were succeeded in getting this reward after a long hardship. We discovered this homeland Pakistan after a lot of efforts. Our adored country Pakistan started to be a free Muslim state on 14th August, 1947.
In 1885 All India National congress was founded, Main Muslim political leaders, also including Muhammad Ali Jinnah, were the members of Indian National Congress and they worked towards Hindu-Muslim unity as well as the independence of India, however, soon they realized that the Hindu are never serious together with Muslims they never see the perfection of Muslims.
Pakistan has a lot of trouble with the country, it is a junk-o-jihad and it's a whole lot of fun. Hindustan K Moolmano (muslims) to Pakistan has been asked to do so-and-so-so-faramosh qurbaniya di. Pakistan has not been able to get a bar-e-sagher in the Muslim world, but that is why he misses his book in the future. Humare is a very successful person, and he is able to help the young man to understand what he is doing and what he wants to do. Yahi sorat-e-hal 14 August 1947 Khoon told me that he was not able to do anything for Pakistan because of his involvement in Pakistan, but he did not want to go anywhere in the court.

Zahoor-i-Pakistan — Chaudhry Muhammad Ali
Former Prime Minister Chaudhry Muhammad Ali published a book The Emergence of Pakistan, a semi-autobiographical account, in 1967. An Urdu translation of the book, titled Zahoor-i-Pakistan, was produced by Bashir Ahmed Arshid. An excerpt on page 287 of Zahoor-i-Pakistan reads:
"Fifteenth August 1947 was the last Friday of Ramadan-ul-Mubarak, one of the holiest days in Islam. On that auspicious day, Quaid-i-Azam became the Governor-General of Pakistan and the cabinet was sworn in, the star-and-crescent flag was hoisted, and Pakistan emerged on the world map.
