Yesterday it was my garden day - the day of my work and harvest pleasure;)
I love going to my garden in summer because even if I come there being hungry, I can eat anything that grow there and be full very fast;))
Now it's time of berries, fruits, veggies, greeenery! The best time of the year!
Though the weather isn't so comfortable now like it was in June.
Now it's hell heat +40C every day and there are no even clouds at all! it's extremely hard for plants, and we try to give them much water and to save them from sun.
This year we try to use a special shadow net to give them more shadow at the daytime. Last year we lost much of harvest because of heat, and this year we try to avoid it. I hope it will help.
Our cucumbers were so tasty in June, and now because of the heat they have got bitter taste on the one side;( +40C is great stress for them, so I try to give them better conditions.
Peppers look fine yeah?
what about squashes??
we've lots of them this year, and I try different dishes using them;)
One more work for yesterday was giving vitamins for our veggies using natural fertilizers. My Dad mixes them in water in such an old bath, and them we pout it to plants roots. I hope it will help them too.
