It wasn't until we started traveling through Mexico that we realized how little freedom we actually had in the "land of the free." That's not the only reason that we prefer Mexico over the United States, though.

To be fair, there are some things that are appealing about living in the US. There's more predictability, there's more order, and there are a lot of conveniences in life that you just don't find in Mexico. But those things don't hold a candle to everything that we love about Mexico.
