**This Sunday was one of those days that feels like a gift; full of tranquility, connection with nature, and moments that make you breathe deeply and be thankful. As I've mentioned in other posts, the island is in the middle of high season, crowded with tourists and seasonal visitors who, although they bring a certain joy and dynamism, can also overwhelm us a little. They are always in a hurry, looking for things to do, places to see, food to eat... and that fast-paced energy sometimes disconnects us from what we really love about this place.
For that reason, we had planned a little getaway to Punta El Agua since Saturday, a hidden corner that few people know about, especially those who are not from the island. It is a very peaceful place and for me it has something special, it connects me deeply with the sea, with my inner self. It is as if time stands still there.
We wanted to leave early to make the most of this corner that we love so much. But before leaving, as always, we fed our dogs. However, Frida, our spoiled dog, didn't want to eat. That worried us because she usually has a good appetite. We immediately called the vet, who reassured us that it was normal since she had been dewormed two days ago. She recommended spoiling her a little, giving her something she really liked to stimulate her appetite.**

Siempre están de prisa, buscando qué hacer, qué ver, qué comer… y esa energía tan acelerada a veces nos desconecta de lo que realmente amamos de este lugar.
Por esa razón, desde el sábado habíamos planeado una pequeña escapada a Punta El Agua, un rincón escondido que pocos conocen, especialmente los que no son de la Isla. Es un lugar muy tranquilo y para mí tiene algo especial, me conecta profundamente, con el mar, con mi interior. Es como si el tiempo se detuviera allí.
Queríamos salir temprano para aprovechar al máximo ese rincón que tanto nos gusta. Pero antes de salir, como siempre, alimentamos a nuestros perros. Sin embargo, Frida, nuestra perrita consentida, no quiso comer. Eso nos preocupó, porque ella normalmente tiene buen apetito. Llamamos enseguida a la veterinaria, quien nos tranquilizó diciendo que era normal, ya que había sido desparasitada hace dos días. Nos recomendó consentirla un poco, darle algo que le gustara mucho para estimular su apetito.*

We stayed there for about two hours, talking, gazing at the horizon, listening to the sound of the waves, and letting the silence envelop us. It was an intimate, simple, but deeply meaningful moment.**
