My day started early in the morning when I left for work with the mission of delivering important information and checking the chlorine levels at the Unik hotel. Although at first it looked like the sky was going to open up with rain, the weather changed quickly. The clouds dissipated and the sun began to shine brightly, giving me a journey full of beautiful landscapes that I didn't hesitate to capture with my lens. There's nothing like starting the day with a walk under a clear sky and a gentle breeze accompanying your steps.**

Mi día comenzó bien temprano en la mañana, cuando salí rumbo al trabajo con la misión de entregar una información importante y verificar los niveles de cloro en el hotel Unik. Aunque al principio parecía que el cielo se iba a desatar en lluvia, el clima cambió rápidamente. Las nubes se disiparon y el sol comenzó a brillar con fuerza, regalándome un trayecto lleno de paisajes hermosos que no dudé en capturar con mi lente. Nada como comenzar el día con una caminata bajo un cielo despejado y una brisa suave que acompaña el andar.*

**When we arrived at the hotel, I checked in with my husband so we could enter and do what we needed to do. Everything went smoothly, and once I handed in the paperwork and checked the levels, we left satisfied that we had accomplished what we set out to do. From there, we headed home, where my son and mother were eagerly awaiting me, as we had planned a special trip to La Vela shopping center.
The idea was for my mother to get to know the island a little better, and considering that it was quite hot that day, we thought it would be ideal to take her somewhere with good air conditioning. La Vela shopping center is perfect for that: spacious, modern, and with a very pleasant temperature. In fact, we had to put a long-sleeved shirt on my mother because she was feeling a little cold, which we found funny, but we were also happy to know that she was comfortable.**
*Al llegar al hotel, me registré junto a mi esposo para poder ingresar y realizar las tareas correspondientes. Todo transcurrió sin contratiempos, y una vez que entregué la documentación y verifiqué los niveles, nos retiramos satisfechos por haber cumplido con lo previsto. Desde allí, emprendimos el regreso a casa, donde ya me esperaban mi hijo y mi madre con mucha emoción, pues teníamos planeado un paseo especial al centro comercial La Vela.
La idea era que mi madre pudiera conocer un poco más de la Isla, y considerando que el calor estaba bastante fuerte ese día, pensamos que sería ideal llevarla a un lugar bien climatizado. El centro comercial La Vela es perfecto para eso: amplio, moderno y con una temperatura muy agradable. De hecho, tuvimos que colocarle a mi madre una camisa de mangas largas porque sentía un poco de frío, lo cual nos causó gracia, pero también nos alegró saber que estaba cómoda.*

We went into the Farmatodo pharmacy in the shopping center, where she wanted to buy some vitamins. What surprised her most was seeing that you can find everything in a pharmacy: from shampoo to fruit compotes, something she found very curious. When it came time to pay, since the system is highly automated—which I love because you don't have to wait long—my son took it upon himself to explain step by step how the process worked. It was a very beautiful moment, full of patience and tenderness.**

A la hora de pagar, como el sistema está muy automatizado —y a mí me encanta porque no hay que esperar mucho—, mi hijo se encargó de explicarle paso a paso cómo funcionaba el proceso. **After the pharmacy, we went up to the food court because it was already lunchtime. My mother has a very strict routine: she eats at 7:30, and that is inviolable. For a change of pace and so she could try new flavors, we decided to take her out for pizza. Before choosing, we took her on a tour of some of the restaurants, and the ones that caught her attention the most were Bonsai Sushi and Aurelio's pizzeria. Finally, we decided on pizza, and we only had to wait about fifteen minutes.**

**When the pizzas arrived, my son and husband took care of getting the soft drinks and sauce to go with them. As always, there was no shortage of jokes and witty remarks that made my mother laugh nonstop. It was one of those moments you never want to end: everyone together, sharing a delicious meal and lots of laughter. The pizzas were truly delicious, so I can't help but recommend them.**

**When we finished, we continued walking around other areas of the mall, enjoying the atmosphere and letting my mother explore a little more. By the end of the tour, she was feeling a little cold, but she was very happy with the outing. Her smile said it all.**
