As I mentioned in previous posts, I have been reorganizing my work routine so that I can spend more time with my mother. It is something that fills my heart, because every moment with her is precious and deserves to be lived to the fullest. Today, for example, I only had to leave early to deliver some documents, which allowed me to stay home all afternoon and enjoy her lovely company. There is nothing like spending time with those we love, especially when we can do so without rushing or interruptions.
Taking advantage of our free afternoon, we decided to show my mother part of the city of Porlamar. She didn't know it well, so we thought it was an excellent opportunity for her to have a different experience and discover some special corners of the island.**

Aprovechando que teníamos la tarde libre, decidimos mostrarle a mi madre una parte de la ciudad de Porlamar. Ella no la conocía bien, así que nos pareció una excelente oportunidad para que viviera una experiencia diferente y descubriera algunos rincones especiales de la Isla.*

She was surprised to see these places, as it is not common to find such venues in our homeland. It was interesting to see her reaction, full of curiosity and amazement.**

**Our last stop was at Marina Concorde, a place I personally love for its ocean views and the sunsets you can see there. We showed my mother one of those magical sunsets that only the island can offer. She was amazed, very excited. She loves, just like me, being near the sea, feeling the breeze, and gazing at the horizon. Seeing that sunset filled her with joy, and us too, because if she is happy, we are happy.**
*Nuestra última parada fue en la Marina Concorde, un lugar que personalmente me encanta por su vista al mar y los atardeceres que allí se pueden contemplar. Le mostramos a mi madre uno de esos atardeceres mágicos que solo la Isla puede ofrecer. Ella quedó maravillada, muy emocionada. Le encanta, al igual que a mí, estar cerca del mar, sentir la brisa y contemplar el horizonte. Ver ese atardecer fue algo que la llenó de alegría, y a nosotros también, porque si ella está contenta y feliz nosotros también.*
