[ENG/ESP] Punta Arenas Beach, an unparalleled paradise.

**Fellow travelers, today I want to share with you a truly enchanting corner of the beautiful Margarita Island, which I am sure will take your breath away and steal your heart. It is Punta Arenas, a paradise beach located on the Macanao Peninsula, southwest of this Caribbean gem that is part of the state of Nueva Esparta.**  **Our journey to this destination was as beautiful as the place itself. From the moment we set off, the landscape began to treat us to unforgettable views. We left at 8:30 in the morning, filled with excitement, knowing that an hour and forty-five minutes of spectacular views awaited us. Traveling through the Macanao Peninsula is an experience that cannot be described in words; you have to live it. Its arid landscapes contrast with the deep blue of the sky, and every curve in the road reveals something new to appreciate. Our journey to this destination was as beautiful as the place itself. Traveling through the Macanao Peninsula is an experience that cannot be described in words; you have to live it. One of the main reasons for this trip, besides enjoying the beach, was so that my mother could fully enjoy it. Punta de Arenas has warm, calm waters, ideal for those who prefer more pleasant temperatures. Unlike the beaches in the north of the island, which have ocean waters and tend to be colder, this beach in the south offers a more serene and welcoming experience. My mother does not enjoy cold water, so we wanted her vacation to be perfect, and this place was the ideal choice. We took Juan Bautista Arismendi Avenue until we connected with El Yaque Intercontinental Avenue. Along the way, we could see the hills known as “Las Tetas de María Guevara,” two elevations that rise majestically on the horizon. Further on, we spotted the hills of the Macanao Peninsula, where from a distance a silhouette appears that looks like the face of a reclining Indian. A local told us that this is indeed what they call it: “El Indio Acostado” (The Reclining Indian). We also passed by the entrance to Laguna de La Restinga National Park, a place that deserves a visit in its own right due to its ecological richness.**      **When we arrived in Boca de Río, the atmosphere changed completely. The palm trees, fishing boats, and streets with their colloquial and picturesque air made us feel like we were entering a world apart, full of tradition and charm. We continued driving down the avenue, admiring the colorful inns and landscapes that looked like something out of a painting.**     **Finally, we arrived in Punta Arenas. And what an amazing place it was. The effort of the trip, which ended up taking an hour and forty-five minutes, was worth every second. We stopped at the restaurant “La Churuata de Raquel y Gustavo,” a cozy place where we were warmly welcomed and offered local delicacies. From there, we enjoyed the sea, watched the boats go by, the birds fly, and felt like we were living a dream. The water was crystal clear, warm, and serene, perfect for relaxing and letting yourself be carried away by the magic of the surroundings.**    **It was a very special day for me, surrounded by my parents, my husband, and my son. I couldn't have asked for more. Nature spoke for itself, with its gentle breeze, the sound of the sea, and the clear sky. In the afternoon, we walked along the sand and saw crabs scurrying across the white sand. We also met fishermen returning from their work, who kindly showed us their fishing trophies and shared stories of the sea.**            **This beach is undoubtedly a hidden paradise. That's why I wanted to share it with you, so you can learn about it and, if you have the opportunity, visit it.
