This Saturday was especially nice. We decided to take my mother to enjoy the Sambil shopping center, taking advantage of the fact that I was able to organize my work to spend more time with her during her stay at our house. I think it's so important to be able to share with her, to make her feel loved and accompanied, especially now that she's visiting. Her presence at home fills us with great joy.
The day began with a late breakfast, not because we were lazy, but because we stayed up talking for hours. We both have so much to tell each other that time simply flew by amid laughter, anecdotes, and memories. It was one of those breakfasts that feeds the mind and heart more than the body. Hehe.
Then we all left the house to go for a walk. My son, with his contagious energy, took it upon himself to entertain his grandmother during the trip. He told her where we were going, asked her curious questions, and even told her some jokes that made her laugh out loud. It was so nice to see that connection between them, so natural and full of affection.
The weather was quite hot, as it usually is here on the island, but the sky was clear and the sun was shining brightly, which made everything look more alive. Between stories, landscapes, and good company, we finally arrived at the Sambil shopping center.**

Decidimos llevar a mi madre a disfrutar del centro comercial Sambil, aprovechando que pude organizar mi trabajo para dedicarle más tiempo durante su estancia en nuestra casa. Me parece tan importante poder compartir con ella, hacerla sentir querida y acompañada, sobre todo ahora que está de visita. Su presencia en casa nos llena de gran alegría.
El día comenzó con un desayuno tardío, y no fue por flojera, sino porque nos quedamos conversando por horas. Las dos tenemos tanto que contarnos, que el tiempo simplemente se nos fue entre risas, anécdotas y recuerdos. Fue uno de esos desayunos que alimentan más la mente y el corazón que el cuerpo. Jiji.
Luego salimos todos de casa para dar el paseo. Mi hijo, con su energía contagiosa, se encargó de entretener a su abuela durante el trayecto. Le iba contando por dónde pasábamos, le hacía preguntas curiosas y hasta le soltó algunos chistes que la hicieron reír a carcajadas. Fue muy bonito ver esa conexión entre ellos, tan natural y llena de cariño.
El clima estaba bastante caluroso, como suele ser aquí en la Isla, pero el cielo estaba despejado y el sol brillaba con fuerza, lo que hacía que todo se viera más vivo. Entre cuentos, paisajes y buena compañía, llegamos finalmente al centro comercial Sambil.*
