**Greetings, dear friends of this community. Today I want to share with you a wonderful experience on a beach that completely captivated me. It is a hidden corner of our beloved Margarita Island, a place that seems straight out of a dream: El Yaque de Taguantar, located in the Marcano municipality in the state of Nueva Esparta on Margarita Island. My day began like any other workday. I left home to go to work in the municipality of Gonzáles, but this time I was accompanied by my husband. When we finished work, he told me that we were going to visit a beautiful place. He used to be a taxi driver on the island many years ago, so he knows many places and has heard about others that he never had the opportunity to visit. The place I am going to show you today is one of those places that, although mentioned in conversations, remained a mystery to him. After successfully completing our day at the Sunsol Ecoland hotel, we decided it was time to find a quiet place to have lunch. The idea was simple: sit by the sea, enjoy the breeze, and share the lunch that, due to the hustle and bustle of work, we had not been able to enjoy. We headed towards Juan Griego, but when we reached Simplicio Rodríguez Avenue, my husband said to me with a smile, “I'll take you to an almost untouched beach for lunch.” And so, without thinking twice, we headed there. The journey was simply spectacular. The avenue ran along an extensive coastal area of Taguantar, and the landscapes were indescribably beautiful.**

**In the distance, the sea merged with the sky, and you could make out the hills known as “Las Tetas de María Guevara,” natural icons well known to the island's residents. I couldn't resist taking several photographs, with the intention of immortalizing the moment and sharing it with you. These are the things that make this island a privileged place to live.**

**During the journey, we couldn't find anyone to ask about the beach, until we saw an entrance that looked like an unfinished street. We took that road and, little by little, we got closer to the sea. Finally, we saw two fishermen and didn't hesitate to ask them about El Yaque de Taguantar. One of them, very cheerful and laughing, said to me, “Look ahead, do you see that sea? It's right on the beach you're looking for. Very few people know about this place, only a few fishermen. Visitors like you don't usually come here.” We were overjoyed to know that we had arrived. The beach was small, hidden, but absolutely beautiful.**

**From there, you could see the Macanao Peninsula on the horizon, like a living postcard.**

**In one corner of the beach, the fisherman's children played and enjoyed the crystal clear water. We settled down on a cliff, took out our lunch box, and had lunch facing the sea. All we could hear was the gentle waves breaking on the shore. It was a magical experience, one of those that remain etched deep within people's memories.**

**Unfortunately, we were only wearing our work clothes and traveling in the truck. If we had gone in our car, I would have brought something appropriate to take a dip. But it doesn't matter, now I have one more reason to return. I'm already thinking about planning a full day to come with the whole family and enjoy this paradise together.**

**After spending some time enjoying the place and the cool breeze, we decided to head back. The road was long, but it was worth it. As we passed through Juan Griego, we stopped to enjoy some delicious ice cream popsicles, bringing our trip to a sweet close.**
