Friends, today I want to share something very important with you. We always think that success brings only happiness, but sometimes success can also become a reason for sadness. When you finally achieve something, the very first thing you should do is celebrate it. Feel proud of yourself, thank God, and be happy.
But if you are someone who spends more time looking at others, comparing yourself, or feeling jealous of their achievements, then your own success will not feel valuable to you.
Friends, you will keep finding reasons to be sad even in the middle of your own victories. That is why, friends, it is important to focus on yourself first. Learn to celebrate your moments, no matter how small or big they are.
There was a boy who studied with me in the university. Recently, when I met some of my old friends, I asked about him because I was not much connected with him anymore.
They told me that he has a good job with a good package, and from the outside, it looks like he is happy. But friends, the truth is that he often feels sad because he keeps asking people about how much they are earning and then compares it with himself.
Friends, if you live life like that, you will end up being sad even after achieving a lot. Whatever comes to you will start feeling less in front of what others have.
Competing with others is not a bad thing, but comparing yourself again and again and filling your heart with jealousy is the worst thing you can do. You have to focus on doing your best and achieving your own goals, not wasting time comparing your life with someone else’s.
Friends, my teachers have always told me that God has already written everything about how much we are going to earn and what we are going to achieve in life. The only thing God expects from us is to work hard and put in our best efforts so that we can reach what is truly in our destiny. That is where we should focus and that is what we should work on.
Make sure you study, make sure you give your best in whatever you want to achieve, and God will surely reward you. Friends, by looking at others and their success, never let yourself feel sad, because their success does not decide your future. What they are doing in their life is the reason why they are being rewarded, and what you will do in your life will be the reason why you will be rewarded.
So, friends, it is always better to be a better version of yourself every day rather than comparing yourself with others. I hope I was able to share a meaningful message with you today.
