Huairou is a beautiful district of the Beijing Municipal and it is adorned with many mountains, lakes, and rivers, all of which are so attractive for traveling. Many of these spots are full of natural scenic views. Some are open for everyone to explore and others are closed to the public. In the Sheng Quan Shan (Quan Mountain) Scenic Area, I found a place to hike mountains in through the green beauty. So, during my last may holiday season, I chose to take a trip to the place for exploring the natural beauty there.
The Sheng Quan Shan (Quan Mountain) Scenic Area is a large natural preserved park. In the area I had to walk a long mountain path to get to the top of the mountains. This long path goes on for about a kilometer without any stairs, which is different from most Chinese scenic spots paths I've seen so far as you can see the plain roadlike way to climb up. There is also a Buddist Temple at the end of the scenic area, in the deepest part of the mountains. After climbing a few smaller mountains, the road ends at a huge height and that height remains same for the rest of the way to the temple. One side of the path was made of rocks from the mountains, and it's sometimes easy to see that this part of the mountains was dug out to make the path. Without a fence, the path can be very dangerous, as there is an empty valley between two mountains on the other side from which you could die if you fall.
I love how peaceful and exciting the natural beauty is through the whole way . It's beautiful to see the green lushes and green canopy of this area in one side of the road and the rocky wall on the other side of the road. I took these beautiful photos while I was enjoying my walk there. It was getting late in the afternoon, but I still saw some people on the way to the deeper part of the area where the main Buddhist temple is located. The road is mostly flat and plain but with many bends, with a few stones here and there on the roadside area.
After going up to the mountains through the beautiful area, I found many quiet spots along the road through the forest. Sometimes I was fearing of some wild animals but luckily I found nothing till the end. I had stopped in some spots to rest somewhere and to drink some water. There were many other routes which are stairs type climbing way to the top mountains.
The whole area was great to explore because going up mountains through a forest is always relaxing, especially that time the mountains were blooming with spring beauty. There is a lot of green colors that covered the all mountains that made the spring spring beauty eyecatching. Absolutely everywhere I look, I only see beautiful, lush green nature. Some parts of the road to this temple were broken and very dangerous because it was very old, so be very careful as you look around.
Even though the new parts are well built and the old ones are very dangerous, I was mostly very careful because some parts were slippery as I climbed up the mountains. At every step of my peak climbing, I was blown away by the incredible beauty of the views. The nearby mountains' deep greenery is really striking, and the fresh air has been soothing me as I've been exploring.
I also found these bird exploration area in the beginning of the scenic area that were closed when I was was returning from my forest exploration. I saw the swimming goose and many pigeons there. They so good home for living. But I noticed that there were not so much birds at the higher sections of the scenic area than the lower sections or the location parks area in my observation.
Finally, it was a great exploration day for me to the beautiful area through the breathtaking walking way towards the mountains. I love to explore such beautiful natural scenic views in 360-degree wide views. I would love to visit this area in the coming fall to enjoy the fall beauty of this forest. I think the fall will be so good to be there and I will have great time again there.
